As the General Manager of RedTail Golf Center, let me first thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We have put tremendous care and efforts into building a virtual storefront that is highly informative, easy-to-use and fun for our customers. As with our customer service, on-site at RedTail, the website is intended to enhance the quality of your experience with our facility. If you have any suggestions for our website or for RedTail, in general, please dont hesitate to contact me at anytime. I welcome any comments, suggestions and/or complaints that you may have. We strive to operate a premium golf facility and provide our clientele with the highest level of customer service possible. We understand, however, that this objective is a constant work-in-progress, and it is feedback from you that helps us to improve our operation. So whether you are hitting a small bucket of balls on our driving range, playing an 18-hole round of golf on our championship golf course, getting a lesson from one of our certified teaching professionals and/or being custom fit for an entirely new set of golf clubs in our legendary club fitting and demo center, please let me know how we are doing. (Click here to send me an email or call me @ 503-646-5166).
I have been the General Manager of RedTail Golf Center since the new facility opened in April 2003. I am a Certified Master Club Fitter, and I have been an owner/operator of golf facilities for nearly 15 years. I have dedicated my entire professional career to golf facility operations, custom fitting, golf instruction and customer service. Family has always been my #1 priority, but Golf and RedTail Golf Center are my career passion.
I grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland. I am very fortunate in that both of my grandfathers were avid golfers and they introduced me to the game at a very young age. I have always had a unique enthusiasm for golf and, as a result I have been involved with the game in one way or another for nearly my entire life. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland (Go Terps!) in 1992. After college I obtained my CPA and worked for KPMG Peat Marwick in their financial services division for two years. It was clear almost immediately, however, that accounting was not for me; so I went on to earn my law degree from The George Washington University National Law Center in Washington, DC. At this point I am a CPA and a JD and I decide I want to work in the golf industry. Makes a lot of sense, I know, and as you could imagine, my mom was thrilled! Well, as it turns out, this was the best career decision I have ever made. For just a few years later I received a call to come and look at a newly renovated facility in Beaverton, Oregon, and now here I am at RedTail Golf Center.
I love RedTail and I love Portland! What a wonderful place to live and bring-up a family. I am blessed with an amazing wife, Debby, who supports me and our family unconditionally, as well as 3 beautiful children Jordyn, Kari, and Mason. My family is the most important thing to me, and there never seems to be enough time to spend with them.
I want to thank you again for taking the time to visit our website. I hope to see you soon at RedTail. Please stop in and say hello if you have the opportunity.
